I HAVE AUTHORED TWO BOOKS OF MY OWN. The first was a limited edition photo-monograph about an ephemeral trio of Japanese-Brazilian performance artists who happened to be sisters, an art book, in which, in addition to shooting all the photographs, I wrote the introduction, description, cover copy, and liner notes. Looking back, that was the challenge I enjoyed most: capturing the artists and experience in words. The second (written under a pseudonym) was a travelogue about some experiences I had in the capital of Xinjiang Province in the far west of the People’s Republic of China, experiences that warrant another book. Immersion is my tendency. I am currently completing my first novel.

Additionally, I’ve been the primary writer and editor for music and arts venues, fine artists, musicians, creative professionals, lawyers, doctors, academics, and websites—web copy, press releases, one-sheets, vision statements, artist intros and bios, artwork descriptions, event copy, historic theatre descriptions, letters, and personal statements, you name it.

I also ghostwrite, and would love to haunt your memoir, novel, self-help, or other type of book if you lack the time or tools to complete it. Conjure me up. (*Ghostwriting rates differ from editing rates.)

Currently, I’m working on a handful of short stories and essays, and writing my first novel. Watch for more books and articles from me. If you care to say hello or want to see writing samples, you can drop me a line via email at paulandrew@fastmail.fm.
